Catch up

Ooops, sorry I haven't been around much, life has a habit of catching up with us at time. Well fun and games about. Last Monday we woke to this:

Now snow isn't new to people her and while we have quite a few snow fields, having it on the plains is blardy inconsiderate.

But by the weekend she was all gone and well, a few of us decided to take a little spin out of town. Don't let the sun fool you, the wind felt like accupuncture on the forehead at times:

Thanks for reminding us it's winter down under Evan when was riding the Badlands and 100 degrees might have welcomed some of that nasty white stuff which a Florida Boy rarely sees .. Correct me if wrong Evan but the North Island don't get snow does it?

Right now snow does not look that bad to me. I am SO SICK of this heat. Can't ride in it either. :-(

Jay, they do have a couple of ski fields but overall they don't get much snow at all but they do get rain. We're a little dryer down here. Just been out and the wind chill must be huge. Face feels numb.

I gotta tell ya, I met some of the nicest people at the National HOG rally on the Gold Coast years ago, gotta love Ozzie hospitality. Just don't wear "big" HOG patches or they will avoid you like the plague. :-)

Moved to Florida (from Michigan) in 1974 so I could have a 365 day riding season. Snow is ok but, the cold weather that comes with it sucks!
