Another thing that can cause this and not throw a code is Fuse losing contact.
Remove each fuse one at a time check for corrosion and that it is not lose .
Make sure you check them all.

I checked for codes non..dealer said they found non ..its a mystery. ?.

Crank sensor will do that. Often it throws one of two codes.
Try this next time it does it have some either and spray a bit in see if it fires.

I wonder if the crank sensor is intermittently bad,,, would the injectors spray..& get the plugs wet ?...
Ps it started up this am ...but snowed last nite no ride to work ...

Started every time for them .kant fix if it dont act up for them ,,,,when it didnot start for me the plugs were wet from gas .they did replace the led bar neutral oil high beam all one it was covered under esp..if it dont start in ffuture itt just have them come & get it..

Well bike does not start at all now im going to take it to local dealer I hooked up timing lite no spark or just one now & then..got me puzzled . Had bat tested its ok ..tom

hello Smitty I've got a question I've got a kind of a problem with my bike ,a slow starting and I've called the dealers locally and they all say bring it in I know you have a good dealer up there that you deal with I was thinking if I can get the number from you maybe they might have an idea why it wants to take awhile to start I think it's worth a try if you would have their number thanks tom
