    I'm walking with Sophie tonight, She lives in the air that I breathe;
I can't get it out of my mind, How you were left to bleed...
    Was it how you dressed?
    Or how you act?
I can't believe, How they could act so violently,
Without regret, , Well, we will not forget...

We are the others, We are the cast outs,
We're the outsiders, But you can't hide us,
We are the others, We are the cast outs
You're no longer on your own, If you feel mistreated, Torn and cheated,
You're not alone, We are the others

I will kick around the site some more when I get a moment here...but it looks like you may have an issue finding that head style...threaded all the way to the head, above 1 inch lengths...at least in stainless.

They don't need to be fully threaded as they pass through the disks before threading into the muffler body. Use plenty of anti-seize when installing the new ones. Removing the broken ones will also be easy. Once you pull the disks off there's plenty left of the broken screws left to grab with a vise-grips and they'll also no longer be tensioned. Stock would have been stainless but they go through so many heat cycles they get brittle.

Since you're going to get killed on shipping anyways, I'd advise buying 25 minimum. Also, check with Coburn Myers. I buy a lot of my hardware from them at much better prices than McMaster Carr. If you can call an "800" number for free from over there ask for John in sales. He's always been real helpful.

Their website says there is a minimum order of $75 to use visa/MasterCard/Amex:

    We Accept
    Visa, MasterCard, and American Express
    ($75 Minimum Order)
Open Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. Eastern Standard Time

This is probably why you are getting better pricing Dan. I've always felt like McMaster-Carr's pricing was fair. They have a HUGE warehouse here in LA. I order stuff from them....regular shipping....and often get it THE NEXT DAY. The closest there is to "an issue" with them is that they stock over half a million items....so there is a LOT to wade through. But even then, the search engine on the website is so user friendly, if you know what it is you want....they have it. I even like them better than Grainger.

Here is a link to the Coburn Myers site....but again...the website says you need to spend at least $75 (how crazy is THAT?).

Clutch is right. I forgot about the $75 minimum as I buy in rather large quantities. McMaster also has a big warehouse in Chicago and I get orders next day as well. Have you looked at eBay UK? If somebody over there has them, even at an inflated price, you may still come out ahead when you factor shipping.

I got an email back from Mccasker - they basically said - NO we won't sell to you !!!!

    i Rob,

Due to the complexity of U.S. export regulations, McMaster-Carr accepts international orders only from our established customers. This decision also applies to orders shipping within the United States, because it is based on the final destination of the items. We will not provide a quotation or accept your orders.

    Kathy
