I spent the last 5 years on a Heritage and moved to an Ultra Limited the end of June. I loved the Heritage and had no issues on long solo rides but was limited on rides I could plan with my wife since she would get tired butt after about 100 miles. The Ultra has been much more comfortable for her and TB has not been an issue yet, her longest day to date in the Ultra was a comfortable 240 miles, her longest in 5 years on the heritage was a long 160 miles.

Things that I have really come to enjoy on the Ultra vs the Heritage is the Cruise control, extra storage, locking storage, 6 gallon tank, and the radio.

Agree on the niceties of moving to touring. I left the Heritage also because it's just too easy to drag the boards in the twists up in the mountains. My lady has done 250 on the street glide but did note the high backrest isn't enough long term. I must decide on added devices or RGU/Ultra. Nice meeting you.
