    SENA S20 comsystem

We have used Caro wireless for years , but ours are outdated and have only 4 hours battery life. Part of the deal on the 750 Street was a great deal on a new SENA 20S dual box set.
With the addition of a FreeWire these will Blue tooth with HD Boom audio and allows most voice functions and direct radio streaming. I will consider adding the free wire latter.
The 20S has been around awhile but SENA has kept updating them . The news one had a Firm ware update soon as I opened them. Looking forward to 12 hour battery life.
Unlikely I will ever have my phone Blue tooth to the bike or headset but I am told the Sena works well.

I picked up a sena set for the little lady and myself to keep in touch and listen to some music.

So far, so good. There is even a app you can use to stay in touch with other sena folks globally.

Haven't tested the battery life yet. Been limited to shorter rides. It, very easy to use and works well. Highly recommend.

They sure do. Funny how these kids think they know it all. Heck we were there from the start of it.

    SENA S20 update.
Battery life on one charge is easy 10-12 hours out standing
Because it is larger than a Q3 controls are easier to operate. and few touches need to do some common tasks.
    Install is easy
One downside so far is at times we get what some call side tone. You can hear your self talk. Many blame it on the Harley but I call BS. it does it when not on the Harley .
It is not all of the time and turning down volume does not get rid of it. I have not paired any other devices to to it yet.
SENA customer service is a computer. You send in an email the computer responds with what it thinks your are asking. Then just refers you to some silly FAQ page that tells you nothing. Monday I will try to get them on the phone.
I will not invest in the freewire for it until this issue is resolved.

I have used UClear for over two years now with my group riders. Have paired up to 5 riders once. Not everyone in the group has one. Found it safer to ride with a bluetooth headset than without.

Incidentally I was researching Freewire this past Friday. I was under the impression that Freewire will communicate wirelessly between the Infotainment system and Uclear. But upon researching further that is not the case. In fact the Freewire 7 pin DIN cable is connected into the audio port on the tank or back port and paired to a compatible Sena headset. This will give access to the cellphone if paired, GPS, Music etc from the Infotainment system. That means I'll still have to hook up the unit to the Harley. Also I don't know if Uclear will work with Freewire.

So this got me thinking. I have already paired my cellphone to my Uclear bluetooth headset. And all calls can be received or sent using Uclear already. I don't have wireless access to the Infotainment centre info yet. For me I still have to decide if Freewire is absolutely essential at this time. But for those who use the GPS frequently this may be the solution to get wireless feedback directly into the helmet.

This is the link I was reading.
