Well, I had to take some flat stock and rig up a support to bolt to the stock support. It works good! After parking Bruiser, the owner of the Grom walked by, commenting that my bike made his look small.

Took it off last Friday and took it to my cousin to weld.

I can't weld, but at least I have a cousin that can. He welded it, then cut off the part that wasn't needed anymore. Looks mucho betta!

Well done
I definitely have done similar things in the past when you alter someone’s else’s design you become the engineer.May I be "the least in the household of God."...

I had a phone call the other week, someone who knew my penchant for Sportsters had a friend that had his stolen( no insurance). He was looking for any cheap Sportster he could find, wrecked, even. He didn't care. So I volunteered Fiona for $800. He came out. looked at it, and shook my hand. I started looking over Fiona and I decided to measure the shocks. They were longer than Bruiser! Seeing as this guy came up to my lower chest, I decided to help us both out.
