Bearing seal ?
98 fatboy how important is seal depth from rim lip . Also I have a space from right leg and axle spacer would any one know
May I be "the least in the household of God."...

Tom,looks right. Right side as sitting on bike. The space you see on the axle is spot on. for right side.

Thanks for taking the photos I wasn’t sure if I did it right I thought I did. The bearing rubber seal I thought I may have pushed it into far I think it’s in 4 mm from the edge of the rim . :0

When ever I can I replace old bearings with sealed ones. I compared yours to mine and it all looks fine . Some going to flip out but the front bearing in my 1996 is original .

Well I do know that mine are Timken bearings which are used I think until 2000 , when they went to a 1 inch axle and if taken care of can last a very very long time. There are sealed with the outer rubber seal which is separate from the bearing it self .. I was just worried that I pushed my Seal in too far ..
