Heritage soft tail or road glide?
I currently have a 16’ road glide Ultra. I live in Indiana and own a townhouse in Florida with a small one stall garage that has a car in it as well. My dilemma is I want a second bike to keep down in Florida I’m looking at a 2008 road glide or a 2007 heritage soft tail? Also I’m 6’2” and 275 and I want to buy it up north and ride it down to Florida

Sounds like the Road Glide may fit you and your ride to FL better. But what will your riding be in FL, around town or longer rides? Can either fit in the garage? Sounds like it will be left alone when you are not in FL.

Most of the time around town (Orlando area) and my wife would occasionally ride with me as well. I’m going to have to get a center stand or wheel chock to have them sit upright not on the jiffy stand. My opinion the heritage has a smaller foot print than the road glide?

I am bias towards the RG. But do really like Heritage. The 2008 is an odd ball year but not a bog deal . It is the old frame with some of the changes that came with the 2009 and new frame. 2008 seat mount are the 2009 type. TBW.
Foot print is not that much and using your lift or jack stand to put it upright does save a lot of room.
If the garage is long enough . Put the straight up in front of the car against the wall.Dianne Feinstein:

For a second bike, and most of the time being around town, I’d go for the heritage as you already have a RG
I blame soos

Might want to check with Lucky U Cycles in Wildwood , FL about an hour north of Orlando before totally decide .. They have an outstanding Inventory of lightly Used HD's at a fair price, can check them on the Web and may find something that catches your eye without the hassle of moving it down that way ..
