    Angry Not a Good Trip

After Making Great Time on I-75 from Home to North GA .. Got on 441 Cruising Easy and Enjoying the Ride got as far as Franklin, NC when a Postal Truck pulled out dead in Front of me and hit it .. Was a 45 MPH Speed Limit but had no time to do anything except slam on the brakes hard as possible and keep the Bike straight up but was still a Nasty Impact as the picture will show .. I'm hurting but no overly serious damage other than banged up pretty good .. No Broken Bones or any Internal Damage that showed up on the Scan anyway .. Wife and I decided to go ahead and make the most of our stay in Cherokee as the room was already booked and play tourist in the truck she was driving .. Meanwhile Hashing out the Insurance thing and the closest Indian Dealer is in Waynesville so will talk to them tomorrow .. only good thing I can say is could have had a worse outcome but meanwhile making the best of the pain medication but wish it was stronger .. Main reason I am up at 4 AM .. Too much pain to sleep .. Strangely th worse pain is in y Shoulders from the impact hanging on to the Handlebars . Bike still went down but threw me to the side so didn't land on me anyway ..

Jay I am so glad you are basically OK. Now make sure the company takes good care of you and your bike, don't let them get away with anything.
If it feels good DO IT

Just a matter of waiting now .. But the way I feel no hurry to go riding right now anyway .. Got things straight yesterday with where my Ride is being held and talked to the Waynesville Dealer who said would be happy to do any work needed if it's not totaled .. Then took the wife to see Wheels of Time which she had never been to before .. Capable of driving okay but be a while before ready to Ride again so not rushing anything .. Have my Dyna ready to roll when feel up to it .. Appreciate the Kind Words , meanwhile might do a little Window Shopping but nothing serious until know the outcome of what going to happen .. Won't break my heart if they total it with the hard impact it took and may be things that can't be seen that might come back and haunt me .. But it's been a Fine Ride for the 2 years, 2 Months, and 23,000 Miles I have owned it ..
