Still waiting the trap door had a crack in it so had to track one down. Jack took some vacation. I told them no rush it should be done soon.
The crack was in a bearing housing. It could be welded , by I was not going that route.

Tom , I will have pictures and cost for you in a bit. Picked it an hour ago. Because it was already in the shop I had some normal wear parts replaced Sprockets belt Ect. Felt great to ride it home

Tom, I have sent you a link to the parts list and pictures. it is clear gears were chipped few other parts also. What went first who knows. I did not want to mess around. Replaced everything with Andrews gears sets and rebuild kit.
The belt was not bad really . The sprockets front and rear were due for a change. All bearing were good but went new anyway. I could have put a 6 speed set in but did not want to change the bike from what it was.
Posted one shot here as an example. I wanted a new trap door not a used one so that added 216 dollars to the cost. pretty much 2/3rds went into Trans 1/3rd went into maintenance items. Sprockets , belt ect.
Total was $3,200.

I am thinking of going from the 32 to a 34 sprocket trany .I did that on my 93 and I’ve got a 34 sprocket here I might do that sometime in the future the trainees sprocket is 32 .. 34 as big as you can go I think it grabs 600 RPM is it a given speed
